KCUFS aims to develop "global citizen" with international knowledge and flexible judgment. We accept undergraduate students who want to increase their interest in the language, culture, and society of their own country and other countries and actively acquire a wide field of view, professional knowledge, and the ability to communicate suitable for future international people.
About 100 international students also come from various countries to attend our graduate school. Our philosophy is "promoting graduate school education open to the world and international academic exchange"

Entrance Qualifications JLPT:Applicants to the Masters program in Japanese and Asian Languages and Cultures should ideally have a level of Japanese proficiency of about N1 (formerly level 1) on the JLPT, and applicants to the Japanese Culture field of the same major, and International Relations majors should ideally have a level of about N2 (formerly level 2) of the JLPT.

Infection Prevention and Safety Initiatives

In order to protect the lives, safety, and health of everyone at the university, including students, faculty, and board members, and to fulfill our social responsibility to prevent the spread of infection, actions that each member of the university are expected to take will be indicated according to the risk level. In the event that someone contracts or suspects they have contracted COVID-19, actions to be taken are laid out in our "Manual for Responding to COVID-19 Infections."
