Registration has opened for the Kobe Student Community Network tool “BE KOBE Student Navi”

1. Purpose of the project
The City of Kobe has opened registration for the “BE KOBE Student Navi,” a Kobe Student Community Network tool that hopes increases contact between students and the local community, and get students involved in local activities.

The BE KOBE Student Navi allows students to search for and apply for volunteer activities that contribute to the local community, and corporate internships, conduct questionnaires used to develop administrative and corporate policies, as well as receive information from the City of Kobe and other companies. (The services offered will be continuously received in response to user opinions and usage statistics.)

By using the BE KOBE Student Navi, you’ll be able to view useful information on student life, all in one place, and earn points that can be used for shopping by participating in volunteer activities starting next year.

A registration campaign will also be held to allow students to earn 500 yen worth of points from receipts of purchases made in the city, along with the registration for the service.

2. Dates when usage begins
Application for registration begins on February 10th, 2023 (Friday).
*You can start using the service once you receive an email notification.


3. Target users
Students who live in Kobe City or are enrolled in a university, graduate school, junior college, special training college, or vocational school in Kobe City
*If you do not meet these criteria, you cannot register.


4. How to use the service
(1) Scan the two-dimensional code below or access “BE KOBE Student Navi” from the URL below, and click the “Member Registration” button on the top page to register.
(2) After applying, you will receive an e-mail notifying you that you can start using the service.

5. Registration campaign
(1) Application Period
From February 10, 2023 (Friday) to February 28, 2023 (Tuesday) 23:59 (tentative)
* Points earned must be converted to regular shared points by 25:00 (tentative) on March 30, 2023 (Thursday).


(2) Eligibility
Students living in Kobe City or those who are enrolled in a university, graduate school, junior college, special training college, or vocational school in Kobe City and have registered to use the BE KOBE Student Navi.
*One registration per person allowed.


(3) How to apply
Apply for with the Registration Campaign from the project list and send an image of your eligible receipt. Points should be awarded within one week after application. It may take up to 2 weeks depending on the situation.


(4) Receipts that may be used
Receipts received for purchases made at stores in Kobe City on or after February 10, 2023 are eligible.
Receipts that fall under any of the following categories are not eligible for use.
(1) Purchases of items related to real estate such as investments, debt payments, financial instruments, land, houses, rent, land rent, parking fees, etc.
(ii) Purchases of items with high cash value such as stamps, gift certificates, travel tickets, boarding passes, government postcard prepaid cards, etc.
(iii) Purchases of manufactured cigarettes as defined in Article 2, Paragraph 1, Item 3 of the Tobacco Business Act
(iv) Purchases from sex-related businesses as defined in Article 2 of the Act on Control and Improvement of Amusement and Entertainment Businesses, businesses with facilities that may encourage gambling, and cabarets, clubs, waiting rooms, etc. whose main purpose is not providing meals.
(v) Purchases from businesses that are related to a specific religious or political group, or those that offend public order and morals.
(6) Purchases of items that each participating restaurant designates in advance as not eligible
(vii) Purchases of items for which the city pays a portion of the cost of medical insurance or long-term care insurance.

Joint venture for the construction, public relations, and operation of the Student Community Network (contractor for public relations and operation services for the construction of a sustainable student community network using digital tools, and the acquisition of registrants)
